Code for Pictures That Are Hosted Elsewhere - How To Show Externally Hosted Images on Your Blog Post

To show a picture that is hosted elsewhere,you need the following:

You need the destination URL

You need the image address.

You can also put text that can be read when there is no image.

How To Copy Image Address:


  1. Open Opera Browser.
  2. Go to Google Image Search and search your desired picture by typing in a keyword for example "Yahoo Logo"
  3. Right click on the image and in the dropdown list click "image address" to copy the image address.
  4. Put this address in your code: img src= "image address here".

You can also go directly to the website or post where the image is shown to copy its address.
